Corrections Policy & Log
vaeyc corrects errors promptly and transparently. This page explains our corrections process and logs every correction we have made.
Our Commitment to Accuracy
We work hard to publish accurate content, but errors do occasionally occur. When they do, we correct them as quickly as possible and acknowledge them honestly. We do not silently rewrite articles to remove mistakes. We do not delete articles to avoid accountability. We correct, we disclose, and we learn from the mistake.
How to Report an Error
If you believe a vaeyc article contains a factual inaccuracy, please email [email protected] with the subject line “Correction Request”. Include:
- The URL or title of the article in question
- The specific claim you believe is incorrect
- A credible source or evidence supporting the correction
We review all correction requests within three business days. If we confirm the error, we publish a correction within 24 hours of confirmation and notify you by reply email.
What We Correct and How
For factual errors — incorrect statistics, misattributed quotes, wrong dates, inaccurate product descriptions — we update the article text and add a clearly marked correction note at the bottom of the article in the following format: Correction [date]: [Brief description of what was changed and why.]
For minor errors such as typographical mistakes, broken links, or formatting issues that do not affect factual accuracy, we fix the article silently without a correction note.
For significant errors that materially alter the meaning or conclusions of an article, we also publish a note at the top of the article and, where relevant, post about the correction on our social channels.
