Submitting a Takedown Notice
If you believe that content on vaeyc.org infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated contact (below) that includes all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work (or works) you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are covered by a single notice, a representative list is acceptable.
- Identification of the material on vaeyc.org that you claim is infringing, with sufficient information to locate it (URL or other specific description).
- Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on their behalf.
Send your notice to: [email protected] (Subject: “DMCA Takedown Notice”).
We will review properly submitted notices and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material within a reasonable timeframe.
Counter-Notice Procedure
If you believe your content was removed due to a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to [email protected] (Subject: “DMCA Counter-Notice”) that includes: your name, address, phone number, and email; identification of the material that was removed and its prior location; a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was a mistake; and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate federal court. Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material after providing the original complainant with a copy of the counter-notice.
Repeat Infringers
vaeyc will, in appropriate circumstances, terminate the accounts or contributions of users who are determined to be repeat infringers.
