I am Ines Abdelnour, born and reared in Florida, and a 30-year resident of Holland, Vermont, in the beautiful Northeast Kingdom. I graduated from the University of Florida, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I taught in Florida elementary schools, urban and extremely rural, for several years, including several years as a remedial reading interventionist.
After moving to Vermont in 1980, I spent several years at home, raising our three children. In 1990, I became the Child Care Resource Development Coordinator at Northeast Kingdom Community Action in Newport, Vermont. In January 2017, I retired from that position. I am currently offering instruction to early education professionals through the Northern Lights Career Development Center and also provide private early childhood education consultation.
I am a proud mother of three adult children and grandmother to four delightful children.
