KAP1VAEYC is a part of the work being done to change and improve public policy in Vermont. We represent our membership through our position as one of the lead sponsoring organizations to the Kids Are Priority One Coalition. The Coalition has recently launched its Quality Campaign, which VAEYC has played an integral role in shaping. Take a look at the most recent Coalition e-update to learn more, or sign up for their e-newsletter on the Kids Are Priority One website.

Additionally, the Kids Are Priority One Coalition recently released its 2011 Policy Agenda. This document is the result of work by professionals, parents and advocates who are part of the Kids Are Priority One Coalition. The recommendations have been developed by issue-area work groups. Many volunteers reviewed the draft sections, as well as the document as a whole. Thanks to all who participated in any way! This is so important for the children of Vermont.
